    Yes, a server

After being introduced to 4 different clients now, i welcome this first VNC server for the mac.

When OSX Toast 5.01 is released, i'll be back in bussiness.

    Very cool

Seems to work very well over my local LAN. Using it now to post this message. Seems really funny seeing OS X running full screen on my IBM ThinkPad ;o)

    Server 1? No.

It's not the first server. It's the second one to my knowledge. There was another one that was for use only in the terminal, and was a vnc xwindows server. It's still on versiontracker if you want to check it out. This one is different, though, seeing as how it controls osx instead of xwindows now.

    not a first for "mac"

This is 2nd server for a "mac" first one was for Mac OS Classic and 2nd one is for Mac OS X .

That vnc Xwindows server is not a vnc server for vnc viewer client.. it requires Xwindows client to connect to it. not what we wanted..

    Oh my god

This is so cool. I can use OS X on any windows machine in the university. Matrix-style 'knock knock, follow the white rabbit' hilarities will ensue :-)

    Actually Classic had...

Classic had more than one VNC server.... I can think of two myself one is from AT&T and the other can be found at http://www.chromatix.uklinux.net/vnc/

How does it feel to be SO wrong... ok off by one... but over time that is a HUGE error! I am kidding about that last line, have a great day all.
