    OS X support?

Does this update offer any new OS X support? Namely when I'm using my ArtZ II pad on my original bondi blue iMac, do small blue a** monkeys come on the screen asking for yummy cheese?

Obviously, these forums need registration or moderation. Goofy posts are fine for chat boards, but they don't belong on a news site.

I've said it in the past on these forums, the immature will always look for somewhere to act up where they kow they won't be caught. I highly recommend registration for the ability to add comments.

I must agree here too, I have pretty much given up reading MacNN and MacCentral forums as all it is is immature kids posting nothing even remotely close to the subject or just windows vs. mac bickering. Are you reading this MacNN?

    Re: reg./moderation

We always make an effort to read the comments of our readers in response to the stories, but it's obviously very difficult when there are hundreds of comments on stories alone in addition to a large forum area to moderate. We'd appreciate it if readers would help this process by pointing out inappropriate comments by sending us an e-mail at news@macnn.com. Thank you for your cooperation, understanding and help with this process.

    How about removing

the comments all together. Although I admit, the image of 10,000 cheese eating blue a** monkeys is hilarious. But this is not the place for it.

did anyone actually download the driver and have anything to say about it? I'd really like to know.

    Downloaded the driver

Yes I did actually download the driver.

I have a bunch of UD tablets with keyspan serial adapters to plug them in and this driver works fine. Actually I see no difference from the last version. My biggest beef is that if I unplug the keyspan serial adapter from one USB port and plug it into another spot on the USB chain like the keyboard's port or the USB hub then you have to go into the wacom control panel and turn the driver off then on again.

Oh and I asked about OS X support for serial tablets from Wacom. The answer is basically that the first beta version will only support their new USB tablets and not serial versions. They will consider serial support later after the full release of the USB driver and after drivers for USB serial adapters are released and stable on OS X. I would just like to suggest that anyone with a serial tablet go to Wacom's web page and use the comment page to send a message to product management and indicate your desire for a driver with serial tablet support.
