Zac Cohen pointed out that Sony has released the Mac driver for its $20 USB-based emarker device, which lets users record track songs played on the radio and download song information over the Internet on the PC at a later time.

    Sony has had Mac support.

My SONY DSC-70 digital camera came with Mac drivers out of the box last year.

    How does it work?

Does anyone have one of theses emarkers? and how does it work?

I looks like it would be pretty cool to have a software version so it would name your mp3's for you.

    Actually

    The link should be
    http://www.emarker.com/download/

The one on MacNN just goes to a blank page.

Hey -- to thank Sony for finally seeing the Mac light, perhaps we should BUY this cool $20 device!

It's the technological solution to an age-old problem -- when the damn DJ doesn't come on and say what the name of that cool song was!
Whenever you hear a good but unknown song on the radio, you hit a button on your eMarker. Then when you come home and plug it in, it references a database of the songs played by your local radio stations at the time you hit the button -- and you can identify the song! To preview on the web, buy online, or download from Napster (although they won't advertise that part!)
