    Unsexy

Isn't there anyone who can make s*** cases for the power people any more? Can anyone else create product appeal like Apple? How about a case that COMES with a keyboard cover for those keyboard marks on the mega-wide screen? How about some serious THOUGHT when designing some of these things? . . not just "trying to make a buck on the coat tails of Apple" . . . C'mon people . . .

On a machine that expensive? You are kidding. Sounds like another Apple s**** up to me. Sheeesh . . .

    sites for macs

How am I going to buy any Macintosh products from a company that can't make a site that looks good on a Mac?

Using Mac IE5 with the resolution 'fixed', the text is un-readable. Why am I going to give them money if they clearly don't care about people visiting their site with a Macintosh?

Their web folks need a clue.

    Come on! It's not hard!

    keyboard

Most keyboards on notebooks leave slight scuff marks. Its not an apple s**** up. These marks come off if you clean the screen well and dont appear if you put a thin sheet of soft material over the keyboard when you have the lid shut.

    site readability...

I don't think it's the web folks that needs a clue.

I'm using IE 5 mac also, and the site is perfectly readable for me. if you've screwed up your IE font settings, that's not something you can hold against the developers.

    Apple s**** Up

"Its not an apple s**** up."
    -------
So it was done on purpose? Right.

"These marks come off if you clean the screen well"
    -------
Personally, I like to clean my screen (15.1" Apple flat screen) as little as possible for fear of damaging it, whilst you are happy to clean it on a what daily, hourly basis to get rid of what I would consider annoying smudge marks? And that's not a srew up? Right.

"...and dont appear if you put a thin sheet of soft material over the keyboard when you have the lid shut."
    -------
Yes, but why should you have to? And that's not a s**** up?

So, why not just put cling film over it? Keeps it nice and fresh too. Sheesh.

    re: Sites for Macs

Learn to set up the resolution in IE5 properly, i.e. click on "Resolution" in "Language/Fonts" in "Internet Explorer Preferences" and set the resolution with the aid of a ruler.

Works a treat. The Apple will look o.k., and, more to the point, so will all other sites.
