Steve Jobs to kick off WWDC 2001

Apple has announced that CEO Steve Jobs will kick off the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2001 with a "fireside chat" with developers on Monday, May 21 at 9:30 AM at the San Jose Convention Center. The $1,600 per-person, five-day eventwhich will be focused almost exclusively on Mac OS Xis expected to be sold out with developers looking to learn more about technical issues and development tools for the new operating system.
