The Mac version of Summoner, which is expected to be released this spring, will not include the auto-updater included in the PC version or the EAX enhancements for taking full advantage of the Creative SoundBlaster Live!, according to IMG. "It might be cool to do, but without hardware, we are close enough to release that adding new technology like this is potentially risky," said Lead Programmer Mark Allender.
