Beleaguered consulting firm MarchFirst has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Earlier this month the company announced it would lay off about 1,700 people, and is planning on selling its domestic business and core assets. Apple is a client of MarchFirst, which has, among other things, designed the packaging for some of its products.
