Good news, if they are smart, they will open source them and hopefully draw on the good work of the Darwin community.

    Don't hold your breath

Don't hold your breath waiting for this to happen within their deadline. These guys are well known for their slipped release dates...

Agree. I don't know how long I've been waiting for their FireWire KritterCam. For a while it looked like it would be first to market, now there are at least two other cams out ahead of it.

    Bummer.

    (sigh)

Well, bummer that I have to wait that long...the two things keeping me booting into 9.1 at this point are the KritterCam and DVDs. Hopefully they're overestimating the 3-month timeline - but I can't say I'll be holding my breath, either.

Boy, that kritter cam sucks. I took mine back. Now a proud owner of an Orange micro iBot firewire cam - I recommend it.

    iBot blows

iBot sucks a**. That thing is a piece of s***. There are several USB cameras on the market that produce a better image. Not a better frame rate or resolution mind you, but a much better image. OrangeMicro should stick to making SCSI cards.
