Apple is eyeing the Buffalo market as one of the sites for its Apple-branded retail store, according to The Buffalo News: "[Apple] is said to have inked deals in select markets across the U.S."
"... a small list which includes Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga and a few other New York State malls owned by the Pyramid Cos...sources familiar with negotiations indicated the first-ever Apple stores will see their debut in the next six months."
The article also notes that Apple signed for space in the Carousel Center in Syracuse and the Palisades Center in West Nyack just outside New York City and is "rumored to be window shopping in such places as San Francisco, Scottsdale, Ariz., and along Chicago's Michigan Avenue," according to the article.
