Console: Only 500K GBA units on U.S. launch

Afternoon console news: Nintendo has announced that it will ship only 500,000 Game Boy Advance unitsjust half of its earlier expectation of 1 million units on launch day (June11)in the U.S. in order to supply other regions of the world with a greater supply; Sonic Team has released a new downloadable English quest, Lionel's Quest, for the massive multiplayer Dreamcast RPG, Phantasy Star Online; Sega will give the first sneak peek at Crazy Taxi 2 during a Crazy Taxi competition in San Francisco on April 7; and Zabed Mahmood from Long Island City, NY will be entered into the Official Video Game & Pinball Book of World Records after scoring the highest score in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 for the Playstation.
