This is not surprising...
for a company who cannot produce a single stable set of drivers on their PC-compatible side. After several years of buggy or unsupported 3D features, miscellaneous lockups, or video capture that won't work properly, a lot of people that bought ATI cards on that end have chucked them for NVidia-based cards or someone else who gets the job done right. Windows 2000 drivers have only just become livable, but still have incomplete feature sets, though the OS has been out nearly a year. To top it off, us U.S. customers have to call long distance to Montreal for support during business hours (for the average end-user, this can be 50 cents/minute). Word to the wise, ATI....customer support wins customers, and keeps them. Your current offerings aren't up to the task yet.
