Afternoon console news: Microsoft's XBox game console will launch with 12-20 titles this Fall, largely comprised of games in the action, sports, racing, and fighting genres; Microsoft will be webcasting the keynote of Chairman and Chief Software Architect Bill Gates at the Tokyo Game Show; and the U.S. District Court of Appeals has ruled that an ordinance passed in Indianapolis to prevent children from playing violent games in arcades can not be enforced.
