Console: Peripherals for Game Boy Advance

Evening console news: Mad Catz will unveil 11 new peripherals for Nintendo's Game Boy Advance at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in May including a travel bag, stereo earphones and an MP3 player; Macronix and Nintendo have expanded their business relationship whereby Nintendo will purchase $75 million worth of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and lease it to Macronix, and Macronix will in turn designate capacity to manufacture products to be used in Nintendo's GameCube and Game Boy Advance; Interplay has announced that MDK2: Armageddon is now shipping for the Playstation 2; and Tripath technologies has announced that Sony has adopted its theater-style sound quality amplifiers to be available for use with its Sony Playstation 2 system.
