Beatnik has released Beatnik Player 2.2, which offers playback of Beatnik's audio technologies such as like Beatnik sonified web pages and Mixman eMixes. Beatnik has also posted an update to the Beatnik MusicObject API 3.4 for Web developers, which will provide support for the Mac IE version of the Beatnik Player and offers unique plug-in code to communicate directly with JavaScript on the Mac IE platform using high-level Apple Events. It promises to post code examples for other plug-in developers as well.
