Reader: speech manager integration in OS X

Mark Torrance passed along a note about speech manageer integration in the final version of OS X:

"I didn't notice this feature in the Public Beta, but in OS X Final when you run Chess it loads a small, circular speech recognition dialog in "push Esc to speak" mode. The bottom offers a choice to view the speakable commands for this application, which include moving your pieces in Chess by naming them. This works with a Plaintalk microphone in a G4 minitower, and works almost as well on a new TiBook. I was really impressed with this level of application-specific integration of speech recognition; this UI improvement to the speech recognition system has made me into a real fan."
