CeBIT flexes new technology

At the CeBIT conference currently underway in Germany, Western Digital announced what it calls the "largest high-performance" EIDE drive - a 7,200 RPM, three-disk model offering as much as 80 GB of digital storage. The company claims its drive is 33 percent faster than competing models, and produces only 33 dBA of noise. We have also compiled a number of other interesting news items from CeBIT.
