Software added to Apple iDisk accounts

updated 09:40 pm EST, Fri March 23, 2001

Following a note about Apple's prepped iDisks, Jeff Moss reports that Apple has added a "Mac OS X Software" folder available to anyone with an iDisk account: "Apple has stocked the sub-folders with a number of OS X/carbon applications and Utilities. In addition to mounting your iDisk via a web browser, once OS X is installed, you can mount your iDisk from the "Go" menu (or use the keyboard: command-shift-i)." Each account contains Member Favorites, Creative, Games, Family, Productivity, Utilities, Web, and Driver folders--most of which are full of software.

    iDisks from OS X

OS X will not connect to the internet. Just like the public beta, Internet Connect is useless. I have to use 9.1 to connect and download.
