Confirming a reader report from several weeks ago, Apple has finally posted an English-International version of iTunes 1.1 as well as a Remove US iTunes 1.0 utility for those users with the US version installed.

    Apple Is pissing me off

    Here is the second mistake in one week, first the firmware update does not work, next the link for remove does not exist...... what is up with apple lately, have they decieded the move OS9 down the drain like that?!

    Uninstall trough FTP site

    The link to the itunes uninstaller for the Dutch version didn't work either, but finally i managed to download it from their ftp site,...pffffff.....

    almost got excited there. Maybe the difference is that they spell itunes as itounse.

    what Z does US doesn't

    You should use the International-English one if you are using an International-English OS. There is no difference, apart from some tweaks behind the scenes to make it compatible. It pisses me off that Apple takes so long to release international updates!!!

    how do I tell? my powerbook was ordered from america but delivered to britain, and came with british plug/manual etc... but I see no Z after my system version.

    PS the us itunes workes fine on it.
