Morning console news: The Game Boy Advance, Nintendo's new handheld gaming device that will ship in the U.S. on June 11, went on sale today in Japan where it began with very strong sales in its first day on store shelves; THQ and Fox Interactive have announced the release of Aliens: Thanatos Encounter for the Game Boy Color; Rocket Power: Gettin' Air for the Game Boy Color is now shipping from THQ and Nickelodeon; and two-time X-Games BMX champion T.J. Lavin stars in MTV Sports: T.J. Lavin's Ultimate BMX for the Playstation, which begins shipping today.
