ATI Technologies—one of two companies that supplies Apple with video cards—has signed a letter of intent to acquire SONICblue's FGL Graphics division for as much as $10 million. FGL is a leading provider of graphics accelerators for NT and Linux; the acquisition would spark ATI's entry into the workstation graphics market.
