Morning tech news: RealNetworks is putting the finishing touches on RealArcade, a platform for downloading and playing games (it's unclear whether the Mac will be supported); the Agricultural Bank of China will provide Motorola with a $362 million credit line to aid the company in constructing a $1.9 billion chip plant; HP has introduced a new, color PocketPC handheld expected to sell for around $400; and Nokia says it is "well on its way" to achieving a 40 percent market share of the cell phone industry.

REAL stupid if u ask me!
I realise the main intent for this technology from REAL is to distrubute games on behalf of the shareware or low cost gaming market, companies like ambrosia for instance. But exploiting the popularity of other companies products in a neat little package that generates advertising revenue for themselves and having the cheek to charge people for the service aswell is not good in my opinion.
if you're into games by a particular company, you'll get it from them, not through some 3rd party tool that you have to pay to use. I wouldn't pay a monthly substription to netscape or microsoft just so I can use their web browsers, why would I pay REAL for something that esentially just browses the download areas of games companies?
it doesn't sound too good to me at any rate.
