Adobe's NN6 Support for Adobe GoLive 5 is a special extension that addresses issues with Netscape Navigator 6.x new Document Object Model (DOM), fixing display problems that might occur with DHTML animation, actions, rollovers, and URL pop-ups used on Golive pages: "Once the ?Make NN6 Compatible? extension has been installed successfully, the Special menu will include the Make NN6 Compatible command, which you can apply to either an entire site or selected documents."

    Works with Opera too!?

A bit slow out of the gate, and it takes a long time to parse/fix existing pages, but it works perfectly! Completely fixed my NS6 problems with layers/remote mouseovers (example: ). As a bonus, I think it also fixes the same problems in Opera!! iCab still doesn't read javascript right, though, and I don't know about OmniWeb...anyone know about this?

Sad that GoLive should have to stoop to support this browser's faults...

    Dreamweaver has this yet?

Anyone know if Dreamweaver has the same fix yet?

    Thanks.

    frequent crashes?

We've been a GoLive shop for a long time, but v5 crashes so often on our machines, especially when changing fonts, that we've been relying more and more on Dreamweaver, BBEdit, etc. I think it might be an ATM conflict. Adobe is no help. Is anyone else having these problems?

    No crashes here

GoLive 5 is stable as pie here. We tried Dreamweaver 4 and it crashes, the UI is horrible, and the Dreamweaver libraries is very weak compared to GoLive's components.

    Idiocy

I hate ridiculous statements like these. Netscape 6 has come leaps and bounds to support THE Standards, set by the W3C, and the only other browser to do it as well, is, of course, IE.

Instead of telling Adobe to go make a new browser, why not have them help develop future releases of Mozilla (the open source project from which NS6 is based). There's only a couple of milestones left, why not get these eliminated, so that the future NS releases can be standards compatible?
