First Rune: Halls of Valhalla details

The latest edition of Askin' Haskins at the Gathering of Developers web site contains the first details on two of the new game types—Arena and HeadBall—in the upcoming multiplayer-focused expansion pack for Rune, Halls of Valhalla. Arena lets players go one-on-one with spectators queued up to wait for their turn to battle the winner. HeadBall, best described as "basketball for Vikings", lets players of a team grab severed heads (arms and legs are an option as well) and run to any of the goals strategically placed around the map to score points. Some difficult goals are worth more points, and some of the goals are team-specific.
