$400 TiCase for PowerBook G4 owners

Dr. Bott LLC has introduced its TiCase, a $400 case specifically designed for Apple's PowerBook G4 Titanium. The TiCase sports a skin made of brushed aluminum, a removable lid that allows the PowerBook to be operated from within the case, padding on all sides, Lift-o-Matic telescopic feet that balances the PowerBook on your lap and allows for air circulation and room for power supply, power cord and miscellania. Pre-orders for the TiCase are being accepted now and will begin shipping in April.

    Its a nice case however its still bulky considering its the Ti inside... Im sure another developer will make an even beter case at that pricealso made on Ti. anyone with a Ti could afford a nice case, personally I think a better case is in the brink...

    The thing doesn't look that great. Seriously, $400 for this? It's sort of square and odd looking, IMO. I dunno, maybe it does look cool in person... but this would be more likely to get stolen than, say, a backpack carrying case. It looks like it has drug money it it!

    I love my Ti G4, I carry it like a note pad most of the times and it's fine. Did you guys see how much the whole thing weighs with the portable??? 11.5 lbs! Why bother...

    how bout this.

    its 12 cm thick. to hold a laptop thats 1 inch thick. thats almost 4 inches of padding, etc? youd think with such a slick slim laptop they could have designed a slick slim laptop case for it.
