    here

open the terminal, type "sh "(include the space) and drag the file onto the window. Then press enter. If it chokes, then drag the file onto the desktop and then try pointing to it there. Or the root level of your HD if you can.

I installed the carbon version with terminal, but there doesn't seem to be any kind of clickable app. What do I do to run it?

    install/icon?

    http://www.limwire.com/support/help/install.htm reads:

"Mac OSX - double click LimeWireMacOSX.sh (Until MacOSX is fully supported, It may be necessary to install this from a shell window and build your own desktop icon for LimeWire.)"

...no explanation on how to 'build my own desktop icon for LimeWire' - are there any resource available on the web that explain how to accomplish this task? TIA...

    Apple has tools

Apple provides tools to make a proper bundle for your Swing apps. Why aren't these morons using them?

Oh well...I really don't like Swing apps. Sun controls the API, they need to change it to help with menu abstraction.
