GameSpot UK has published an interview with Jason Jones, Bungie co-founder and the lead designer on Halo, the first-person shooter action game coming to the X-Box, Mac and PC. "You know we're concentrating on the Xbox version at the moment," says Jones, "there's still a lot of work to do, a lot of cool shit which we've got to pull out, so we're not even really thinking about the PC and Mac stuff yet. We're committed to doing it after we're done, but the core Halo team, actually a bunch of the guys from Oni, are doing everything they can to make Xbox Halo work out."

    Hostility?

Excuse the h*** out of the folks at bungie for wanting to put some more food on their tables. Sold-out is a BS term used by people who haven't ever been given a great off from someone they otherwise could care less about. Yes, these guys are pros, and they should and do care about the Mac platform. But I guarantee that they are going to sell a whole lot more copies of Halo for the XBox and Windows then they will for the Mac. Grow up and wait for the Mac release like the rest of us. It'll be out at the same time for us as for the Windows using folks. So quitcher bitchen!

    Yes Hostility!

Bungie can't make a damn game within a decade any more. So of course, like all S***** companies that have bad management, they have to sell out to a corporate giant. Good for them that they get money and don't go out of business due to bad management. But let's be honest. They'll never start a new project for the mac again. Aren't we are all the suckers?

    Yes, sellouts

Contrary to people saying Bungie aren't sellouts, just read the quote-"so we're not even really thinking about the PC and Mac stuff yet." Great. And when Halo finally does get ready for a Mac release, they'll cite slow mac game sales and cancel it to focus on more X-box s***. Mark my words-do you think microsoft is going to let them spend a few months on the mac port of halo, or do you think bungie will move on to the latest c*** for the x-box. hmmmmm, i wonder.
