Yesterday we noted Apple's acquisition of PowerSchool, disbanded Cube development team, and announcement of Final Cut Pro 2 as well Matrox RTMac, a real-time editing card for Final Cut Pro, Real Expression's ETShade Professional and OS X shipping upgrades and status. Other updates include Apple's Macintosh Manager 1.4, Thursby's DAVE 2.5.2, a Mac beta of Viewpoint Media Player, and Clarkwood's Peek-a-Boo 1.6.
