HP adds Mac software for ScanJet 6300C series

Hewlett-Packard today announced that its HP ScanJet 6300C Professional Series scanners now support connectivity to Macintosh computers. The series of scanners consists of ScanJet 6300C for $400, 6350C for $500 and 6390C for $900. Features include 1200 dpi resolution and HP PrecisionScan Pro software. The Macintosh software makes the scanners compatible with USB computers and is designed to run on Mac OS 8.5 or higher. The software will begin shipping in the box by the end of this month. The software itself is $10.
