Sig Software has released a public beta version of TableText 1.0, a program that allows tabular information to be represented, manipulated and scanned as plain text. Users can convert spreadsheets and tables to ASCII text. It can be used for e-mail messages, source code comments and cross-platform documentation. The beta is fully functional, but expires June 1.
