Stomped: Hoekstra Interview

updated 03:00 pm EST, Wed March 7, 2001

Stomped has conducted an interview with Raven Software's Kenn Hoekstra, discussing the recently announced expansion pack for Star Trek: Voyager - Elite Force. The interview covers many features of the expansion pack in depth including the new character models, the new multiplayer game types and the virtual voyager mode which lets players participate in recreational and training exercises with the crew.

The holo-missions that are part of the virtual voyager mode are based on training and recreational activities for the crew. Tom Paris, for example, likes to run around and take on the role of Captain Proton. As you tour Voyager, you can go into the Holodeck and take part in these missions, which include the aforementioned Captain Proton episode, infiltrating a Klingon warlord's compound, weapons training on the Hazard Team firing range and a garden relaxation program.
