Adaptec today issued an earnings warning, adjusting its expected earnings per share to 10-15 cents, short of the 23 cent consneus estimate. Sequential fourth quarter revenue is expected to be down some 15 percent. The company is currently working to reduce expenses by more than $7 million, and will take a $10 million restructuring charge in the process.
