Media 100 is now shipping CineStream 1.0, a software-based interactive streaming media authoring solution that "provides a unique, software-based approach to creating video programs specifically designed for the interactive nature of the Internet..."

It allows users to capture video content directly from digital video (DV) sources, edit video content, create interactive elements directly
into the editing timeline using EventStream authoring tools and encode the final product in all major streaming media formats, including Windows Media, RealSystems, QuickTime and MPEG-1. It also supports "Pan and Scan," picture-in-picture, multiple compositions, and Chroma and Luma keyers as well as unlimited keyframes, umlimited video and effects layers, and 2D, 3D and keying effects for video layering. The $500 application is a $150 upgrade to regisered owners of EditDV or MotoDV.
