Brooklyn College eliminating 'magic eraser'

Many of Brooklyn College's classrooms are equipped with Power Mac G4 computers, AirPort cards and access to the Web. Biology professor John Blamire is trying to transform the learning process from passive to active and is helping to eliminate what he calls the "magic eraser," which wipes out students' memories of facts learned at the end of the semester.
