Macromedia is soliciting submissions for The People's Choice Awards, which will determine the "best Web and CD-ROM content created using Macromedia products across a wide variety of categories." The winner will be announced on the final day of Macromedia UCON 2001, which runs from April 10 to 12 in New York City and costs $1,400. The theme of this year's user conference is "Champion the User Experience." Submissions need to be received by 5 p.m. PDT March 16, 2001.

I don't know if there is a viewable list of nominees online, but I thought it would be cool to see what people would choose. My pick for best CD-ROM content using Macromedia would be the IRON MAIDEN remasters.
Whether or not you like the band or their music, the presentation is topnotch, and easily worth the price of the cd. Photos, Movies, history... the things are incredibly extensive, and different for each of the 12 cd's they are found on.
Ok, I'm done... let's hear some others!
