The TWAIN Working Group has had nearly 3,000 developers download the TWAIN Toolkit for the Mac, the new version of the industry standard for image acquisition, since its release in February. The standard enables Macintosh application developers to acquire images from digital cameras and scanners for use in their imaging applications. The new version is fully compatible with previous TWAIN specifications and existing data sources.
