Baldur's Gate MP Update

Graphic Simulations Corporation has updated its web site with a note on progress made with the multiplayer patch for Baldur's Gate in addition to the expansion set, Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast. "We are presently testing a new version of the Baldur's Gate Multiplayer update. Gameplay seems stable but testing will continue a few more days to be sure. If all goes well, beta testing will begin soon. Tales of the Sword Coast is coming along nicely. As soon as the multiplayer update for Baldur's Gate is finished, beta testing for Tales of the Sword Coast will begin."

    bon't buy it

    Don't buy this game. It crashes way way too much. It sucks. Don't buy it. It's a poor port of the PeeCee version only to rip off Mac users. Don't buy it.

    I disagree. Baldur's Gate is a great game. I've played it for weeks and have never seen a crash. This is the best role-playing game I've ever seen on a computer (I admit I'm biased toward the AD&D rules).

    If you like AD&D, get this game.
