Yesterday we noted that G4/667 systems have begun shipping, following Apple's G4/733 shipping announcement two days ago; tomorrow's release of Opera 5.0 Technical Preview 1, as well as a feature on the alternative browser; Apple's warning that some CD-RW drives in new G4 systems cannot write at speeds faster than 4x; Napster's $1 billion bid to keep the service alive; and the release of Virtual PC 4 Windows 2000.
