SSEYO's interactive audio system, SSEYO Koan, adds an integrated software synthesiser as well as full MIDI file playback to its generative music composition engine. The new integrated hybrid digital/analogue synth allows authors to create and control low-bandwidth audio and lets authors apply synth sounds and MP3 samples to MIDI tracks and add FX to the MP3 samples. Koan Pro 2.5 PE is $200 ($80 upgrade), while the Koan Plugin v7, with the ability to drive web animations (e.g.Flash/DHTML) through webpage Javascript, is free.
