vScan 1.8: anti-virus utility updated

updated 03:10 am EST, Tue February 20, 2001

MRD's vScan 1.8 updates the virus database, fixes a few bugs, and adds a new preference setting to its $30 anti-virus utility which scans Mac volumes for infected files, trojan horses and traditional viruses: "[it] will detect all strains of the AutoStart 9805 Worm plus all strains of the SevenDust virus as well as the most current trojan horse files circulating in the Mac community."
