Macromedia has posted Flash 5.0a, an update to version 5 of its vector media authoring environment for the Mac. The update provides overall improved reliability and stability for Flash 5 including improved export of complex Flash movies and better export to animated GIF format, system freezes when dragging to the timeline, and a fix for positioning items using the arrow keys.
