Unicore Technologies today announced the availability of Macintosh and Gigabit Ethernet support in its NAServer products, a "thin file server" that provides inexpensive network storage access for UNIX, Novell, Windows, and Mac clients. NAServers provide support for UNIX, Novell, NT, Direct AppleTalk/IP, Web, and FTP and range from a 1U 19" rackmount unit with up to 320GB of storage capacity, to Deskside models scaling to more than 1TB of storage with optionally support for hot swappable drives, RAID (Level 0, 1, and 5), and redundant power supplies.
