Mitsubishi introduces new dye-sub printer

Mitsubishi yesterday introduced the CP-8000DW Digital Color Printer, which is designed for instant digital photo processing such as event marketing, amusement and kiosks, offers edge-to-edge image quality at 304 dpi, high-speed and high-volume printing (up to 22 ppm) and both SCSI-II and USB interfaces. The $4000 color dye-sublimation printer ships with 16MB of memory and is scheduled to ship in April.
