Sony has also updated its Cyber-shot digital still camera line. The DSC-P30, DSC-P50 and DSC-S75 cameras, which will be available in stores in May, have new cases, controls and styling. The "ergonomically-designed" DSC-S75 ($700) features 3.3 megapixel resolution, a 3x optical zoom, a Carl Zeiss lens and a new Jog Dial navigator as well as a two-frame burst mode, a 14 bit A/D converter, and the ability to capture 320 x 240 video at 16fps. The smaller, more stylish DSC-P30 ($400) and DSC-P50 ($500) offer 3x Optical/6x Precision Digital zoom, AF Illuminator light, MPEG EX video, and Sony's newly developed low-power circuitry and power management system for up to 1100 shots on two AA cells (or 2200 shots on the optional InfoLithium S battery).
