Agfa recently released the Duoscan F40, a new version of its 1200x2400 dpi, 42-bit color flatbed scanner with TwinPlate technology, which offers a conventional scan bed for reflective originals and a separate tray for glass-less transparency scanning. It bundles FotoLook 3.5 software, Agfa's ColorTune 3.02 software, Adobe Photoshop LE and Readiris OCR. The scanner offers both FireWire and USB interfaces. [pricing not available]
