Earthlink, Sprint revise partnership terms

Earthlink and Sprint have revised the terms of their three-year alliance, dissolving Sprint's exclusive rights to acquire the company and allowing each company to pursue more third-party agreements. In doing so, analysts speculate that Microsoft could step up and become a major investor in Earthlink, or even acquire the ISP outright. Earthlink, which is Apple's exclusive ISP partner, has stumbled upon rough times in the last year as a result of weakened market conditions and a stop in the growth of its dial-up subscriber base.

    Microsoft own MY isp? HA

I am a member of Earthlink, and have been for quite some time. If Microsoft comes in with their MSN garbage, I'm out. I can not deal with having microsoft as my isp; i feel that there are a lot of mac users out there who will do the same.

Microsoft is the wallmart of computing (read up on wallmart... the analogy works) and I refuse to shop at wallmart.
