Summer Dev. Journal Ch. 26

updated 02:05 pm EST, Fri February 9, 2001

Chapter 26 of the Developer Journal for Summoner is online at pc.ign.com with Volition's Brian Keron and Mitri Van explaining the technical aspects of changes made between the Playstation 2 and Mac/PC versions of the game in addition to optimizations made to the graphics engine. "Summoner runs on video cards with a wide spectrum of performance, from a Voodoo 2 at the low end to a GeForce 2 at the high end. Summoner's scene complexity can be scaled down so that lower end cards are not overwhelmed, and scaled up to take advantage of the power of high-end cards."
