Jason Greene notes a new Mac/Toast Hybrid CD-Driver 1.0 that allows you (1) have only one driver installed for both your Apple CD-ROM drive and your Toast-compatible CD-R drive and (2) record Mac CD-ROMs from which you can boot in your Apple CD-ROM as well as your Toast-compatible CD-R drive.

    thanks

Those direct download links are the coolest - this guy's homepage (like so many others) is unnavigable.

    I'm with these guys...

Someone may want to advise Mr Jason Greene that no matter how 'innovative' and aesthetically pleasing your web interface, if people can't figure out how to navigate it, you've failed miserably - which he has.

    text only?

Frankly, I don't see what you people are whining about so much. While not the greatest acheivement in user interface design (let's get Tog to comment!), I found my way around fairly easily. Would you prefer a text only site? You people probably need a map for your own living room...

    It might help if...

...his site even worked with iCab. I really hate sites that are too non-html based. Who am I kidding, I just want to be able to use Lynx on any site! And the needing a map for our own living rooms is not necessary -- I live in a loft! ;-)

    Jason Greene...

didn't design the site. He just told Macnn about the extension. No wonder you had problems with the site (assuming you actually looked at it), you had trouble reading the first sentence of a 1 sentence article. Good work.

As far as the extension goes, somewhat of a good idea in theory, but I would be a bit hesitant to replace 2 extensions with 1 third party extension. But if it works for you, hey.

    Unnavigable

Nothing wrong with "unnavigable." It's a word.

The site is unnavigable because if you click the icon for the extension, it takes you back to the screen you were just at. It doesn't actually seem to have a way to get to the place where you want to be.

who cares about the guy's website... how come no one has commented on if the extension actually works? who wants to be the guinea pig?
