Mac Shadowbane Testing
updated 12:14 pm EST, Thu February 8, 2001
Crossroads of Shadowbane has posted a log from a recent chat with Wolfpack Studios, developer of massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) Shadowbane, following the company's announcement that it had begun phase 1 of its beta test. Notably, the test only included PC users, but Wolfpack representatives that Mac users will be included in the near future. "We'll be making another beta signup announcement for Mac players very soon."

Mac Beta Testers....
Actually, Wolfpack stated that the reason they're going to have a Mac-specific signup soon is because they don't have enough Mac testers yet. I'm currently signed up for the beta as are quite a few other Mac owners I know.
As to whether the current 50-person beta is PC-only, that's sheer speculation. No names have been given out, so we don't know the composition of the test group. Now, as the testers were chosen at random, the chances are good that it's all PC users, but by no means certain. Additionally, my understanding is that the Mac client is at the same development stage as the PC client.
