    This Drive Rocks!!

    Hi!

Being in Germany, I got mine some days ago. It is a real bargain for DM 680. I had ordered a "Freecom Portable /Firewire" before and sent it back after 10 costers and several reboots due to Toast hanging.

The Formac Drive, however, burns much faster and without ANY costers so far (thanks to its "burnproof technology"). I even burned files from a network volume where the server was hung for several minutes. No Problem at all!!

The only downside is the noise. Like all Formac burners they are loud. Good that I can turn it off and on at any time.

    I can only recommend it!!

    bootable CD using toast

How on earth do I make a bootable CD using toast? I don't want to duplicate a system CD. I try to make a copy of my current System--including all the customized extensions, and control panel, and then burn it. But the disk I make is not bootable.
I'm not booting off the system folder I'm trying to burn, because I wouldn't be able to copy the files that are in use.
