\"Silhouettes\" win Gold

Apple's "Silhouettes" campaign has been recognized yet again for its innovative style and effectiveness. The campaign designed to promote both the iPod and the iTunes Music store was produced by TBWA/London and took home two Gold awards at the . The awards were announced at the end of September in Brussels.

“With 86 entries from 23 agencies in 13 countries, 2005 has been another record year for the Awards. Two trends are particularly noticeable: firstly, that the number of integrated communications campaigns has rocketed, reflecting the trend towards full incorporation of less traditional channels into mainstream marketing programmes; and secondly, that the overall quality of both the campaigns themselves and the entries was markedly higher than in 2003 and 2004."

The EFFIE awards were introduced in 1968 by the New York American Marketing Association and are now celebrated in 30 countries worldwide. To qualify for entry to the EURO EFFIES, a campaign must have run in at least two European markets.
